Terms of use

These terms explain the deal between you and 100K Beers when you use the site. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated 31 July 2026

1. What 100K Beers is

100K Beers is a community platform for sharing beer check-ins and tracking a Bengaluru-wide challenge. It is a social record-keeping service, not a retailer, alcohol-delivery service, or invitation to drink irresponsibly.

2. Eligibility and responsible use

You must be legally permitted to use this service where you live. You are responsible for following local laws, drinking responsibly, and never drinking and driving. We may restrict access where necessary to protect the community or the service.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, captions, and profile information you submit. You give 100K Beers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, resize, display, and share that content as needed to operate and promote the public parts of the service.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Do not upload private information about another person without permission, illegal material, or content that is abusive, hateful, deceptive, or unsafe.

4. Community content

Public profiles and check-ins may be viewed and shared by other people. We do not promise that user content is accurate, available forever, or suitable for every audience. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms or the Community Guidelines.

5. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, 100K Beers is not liable for indirect losses, loss of data, or reliance on user-submitted content. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above shows when this version took effect. If you have a question about these terms, please use the project’s usual contact channel or open an issue with the team that operates 100K Beers.
